The real magic at Bogey's lies in its warm, inviting vibe. Patrons rave about the amazing staff and lively ambiance. With fun live music on Mondays, it’s a hub for those seeking both entertainment and connection. As Tony Compton notes, the great atmosphere coupled with a fun crowd creates an experience that you won't soon forget.
Small yet cozy, this bar proves to be the perfect pit stop for both locals and visitors. According to customer 'S W,' it’s more than just a place to grab a drink; it’s a quaint space ideal for small groups. And if you find yourself feeling peckish, take advantage of the complimentary free popcorn while you unwind. The culinary offerings don't stop there—on alternating Saturdays, you can indulge in tantalizing tacos, hamburgers, and chicken sandwiches, often accompanied by genuine krinkle-cut fries. Gene’s glowing review of the fabulous chicken sandwich confirms that the bite here is just as noteworthy as the atmosphere.
For those in search of a casual yet lively spot, Nicole Brown describes Bogey's as a friendly locale filled with good tunes, cheaper beer, and a patio perfect for relaxing. With a mix of patrons from various demographics, it embodies a sense of inclusivity and fun. Customers often leave with a smile, not just because of the quality of drinks but due to the astounding service provided by staff like Amy and Katie, who guests have described as “fantastic” and “extremely accommodating.”
Customer D.J. Markowski shared a sentiment echoed by many: despite initial nerves, due to the decor featuring police badges, the environment was super friendly. The bartenders, such as Robby or Bobby (whichever it may be!), ensure that every visitor feels right at home, checking in regularly and cultivating an atmosphere of camaraderie.
Happy hour delights, a fireplace on the patio, and evenings filled with great live music make Bogey's a top contender for your next night out in St. Paul. Lee Troska, a frequent visitor, urges anyone who hasn’t been to discover this hidden dive bar gem, particularly during happy hour.
In conclusion, Bogey's is not merely a bar—it’s a lively gathering spot that invites you to relax, connect, and enjoy delicious food and drinks in a truly welcoming atmosphere. Don’t just read about it—come and experience the warmth and vibrancy that Bogey's has to offer!

Good pit stop coming from or going into st.paul. small and quaint for small groups. Free popcorn and Hedgies Pizza for food but our stop was non food related! Except for Saturday's and Wed. Kinda has a feel like a goodfellas bar.

Great little Bar. Stopped in for the first time in years despite living just across the River, and we're glad we did!!!. Super fun atmosphere and vibe. Bartender Darcy was amazing. Everybody was super nice and made us feel welcome. Free popcorn too. The grill was fired-up outside (every other Saturday, with the best Tacos on the planet on the alternating Saturdays) with 10 Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, and Chicken sandwiches, all served with genuine Krinkle-Cut fries. My friend had the Chicken sandwich and it was fabulous!!! Best 10 you'll ever spend. We will definitely be back!!!!

Very casual spot, more lively and friendly than just a dive. Mostly older white folks, fun music, free popcorn, cheap beer, and patio for chilling and a smoke. Shared parking lot with the liquor store right off the freeway above the great Miss.
